Delivery of a advanced robot cell for a fully automatic pick & place of "tubes" in the medtech industry.
In this application we delivered 2 electrical cabinets, PLC & motion programming with a total of 2 servosystems and 7 stepmotorsystems, Safetyprogram for E-stop and Robot program. The PLC and Motion control system has a cycle time of 4ms. Interface setup with EtherCAT and Ethernet/IP for the communication with the Robot and a visionsystem with 4 cameras.
Control system replacement from a Siemens S5 to a Siemens S7-1500 system. This was a turn-key project for the food industry consisting of PLC-code translation and adaptation. A new HMI had to be developed due to a very old HMI with now application available.
After a carful planning and review of the production line as well as well-prepared work, this project was a success and the replacement took less than 2 weeks! Including disassembling, installation, connection, startup and verification of test protocols.
